MINUTES OF TOWN CAUCUS
Town of Janesville, Wisconsin
January 17, 2006
Posted: Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the town office, Lion's
Quick Mart, Consolidated School. Cork & Bottle West Court.
Newspaper: Classified ad in the Janesville Gazette, Thursday,
January 12, 2006.
Thirty-nine (39) persons were present.
Caucus called to order by, Chairman Marshall, at 7:30 p.m., at the
Town Hall, 1628 N. Little Ct., Janesville, WI.
Town Chairman Ed Marshall and Town Clerk Andrea Peabody served as
Chairman and Clerk of the caucus
Appointment of Tellers
Karen Mielke, 1722 N. Parker Drive and Audrey Gehrig, 5110 N. Connor
Road, were appointed, by Chairman Marshall, to serve as Tellers for
the Caucus.
1. Nominations for Supervisors
Moved by Ray Gehrig, seconded by Tod Daniel, to nominate Gary Fox
for Town Supervisor.
Moved by Cheryl Weisz, seconded by Sue Bratzke, to nominate Steve
Thurner for Town Supervisor.
Moved by Doug Kath, seconded by Elmer Brandt, to nominate David
Rebout Town Supervisor.
Chairman Marshall called for nominations from the floor three (3)
additional
times.
Moved by Audrey Gehrig, seconded by Don Boughton, that nominations
for
Town Supervisor to be voted on at the Spring Election, to be held
April 4, 2006, be closed. Motion carried on voice vote.
2. Drawing for Ballot Placement
The drawing for placement on the ballot for Town Supervisor will be:
David Rebout 1st Gary Fox 2nd Steve
Thurner 3rd
3. Adjournment
Moved by Bruce Schneider, seconded by Tod Daniel, to adjourn the
2006 Town Caucus. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
