MINUTES OF BOARD OF REVIEW TOWN OF JANESVILLE June 1st, 2009 Posted: Notice of Meeting to adjourn Board of Review, Friday, May 13, 2009 at the town hall, Lion's Quick Mart, Consolidated School, in the town of Janesville and at Cork & Bottle West Court. Members Present: Chairman Edward Marshall, Supervisors Robert Mielke, David Rebout, Bruce Schneider, Gary Fox, Clerk Linda Fewell. Members Absent: none Meeting called to order, by Chairman Marshall at 7:27 p.m., in the town hall, 1628 N. Little Court, Janesville, WI. Moved by Schneider, seconded by Fox, that due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 6th day of July 2009 at 7:25 p.m. Motion carried on voice vote. The notice was posted on the door of the meeting place upon adjournment. Little Court, Janesville, WI. Present: Roll Call: Chairman Ed Marshall, Supervisors, Robert Mielke, David Rebout, Gary Fox, Clerk Linda Fewell. Members Absent: Bruce Schneider Moved by Marshall, seconded by Fox, that due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 3rd day of August, 2009 at 7:25 p.m . Little Court, Janesville, WI.. Present: Roll Call: Chairman Ed Marshall, Supervisors David Rebout, Gary Fox, Robert Mielke, Bruce Schneider, Clerk Linda Fewell. Members Absent: none Moved by Fox, seconded by Schneider, that due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, the Board of Review will be adjourned until the 31st day of August, 2009 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. Motion carried on voice vote. Respectfully submitted, Linda Fewell, Town Clerk August 31st, 2009 The 2009 Board of Review was called to order by Edward Marshall, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, August 31st, 2009 in the town meeting hall, 1628 N. Little Court, Janesville, WI.. Present: Roll Call: Chairman Edward Marshall, Supervisors Robert Mielke, Bruce Schneider, Gary Fox, David Rebout, Peggy Augustine and Clerk Linda Fewell. Absent: None Others Present: Assessor Paul Mauel Certified members : Ed Marshall, Bruce Schneider, Gary Fox, Moved by Schneider, seconded by Rebout, to appoint Ed Marshall as Chair of the 2009 Janesville Town Board of Review. Motion carried on voice vote. Moved by Mielke, seconded by Fox, to appoint Bruce Schneider as Vice Chair of the 2009 Janesville Town Board of Review. Motion carried on voice vote. Clerk Fewell also reported that the Town of Janesville open book was held on August 10th 2009. The legal ad for the Board of Review ran in the Janesville Gazette on July 27th, 2009 and was also posted on that date at the town office, Lion's Quick Mart, Consolidated School, Cork & Bottle West Court Street, and the town website. Clerk Fewell swore in Town Assessor for all hearings before the Board of Review today. He addressed the board with a short history of the towns maintenance assessment. No Objection to be heard today. Adjournment: Moved by Fox, seconded by Schneider, to adjourn the 2009 Town of Janesville Board of Review. Motion carried on voice vote. Meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m., August 31, 2009.
