MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Town Board
Town of Janesville, Wisconsin
March 1, 2010

Members Present: Chairman Ed Marshall, Supervisor David Rebout,
Robert Mielke, Bruce Schneider, Gary Fox
Members Absent: None
Others Present: Town Clerk Linda Fewell, Treasurer Peggy Augustine,
Constable Archie Henkelmann, Building Inspector Monte Krebs, and (4)
members of the public.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Marshall, followed by the Pledge
of Allegiance, at 7:33 PM, at the Town Hall, 1628 N. Little Ct.,
Janesville, Wisconsin.
1. Minutes of Previous Meeting
Moved by Fox, seconded by Mielke, that the minutes of the regular
meeting, held February 1, 2010, be approved with the
correction of due changed to do on
Page 2 letter C. Motion carried on voice vote.
2. Financial Report
Moved by Mielke, seconded by Fox, that the financial report,
ending February 28, 2010, be accepted as read by Treasurer Augustine.
Motion carried on voice vote.
3. Citizen Participation
1. Bruce Schneider informed board of a large pot hole by Hackbarth
Rd.
2. Do we Need a permit to haul crops from the fields? Wondering
about weight restrictions. Chairman Marshall said no.
3. Wondering if a resident can park a camper trailer on his property
for visiting family? Chairman Marshall said no that is not
allowed.
4. Wondering if a road is graveled and named is it a public Rd? This
will be a
April agenda item.
5. Brought up that Gensler is bringing brush into his pit to burn.
Will look into that.
6. David Rebout brought up that Kelly Cusick may have to look into a
590 nutrient program with the amount of animals on her property.
This will be on the April agenda.
4. Planning Committee Recommendations - did not meet
5. Unfinished Business
A. Waste Management, Ken Corbett from waste management explained that
The trash not being picked up was weather related. Chairman Marshall
said roads were not snow covered. Board wants a Plan of Operations
put

6. New Business
A. Building Inspector Report - Have Monte count horses at Kelly
Cusick’s
B. Moved by Fox, seconded by Schneider, to approve the Country Club
Application for a new agent: Lance Marting. Motion carried on voice
vote.
C. Moved by Rebout, seconded by Fox, to approve operator license for
Tara Winters and Nicholas A. Speer to expire on June 30, 2010.
Motion carried on voice vote.
D. Moved by Mielke, seconded by Fox, to approve the 2010 fire and EMS
contract. Motion carried on voice vote.
E. Moved by Marshall, seconded by Schneider, to approve $1000.00
contribution to the 2010 Clean Sweep program. Carried on voice vote.
F. Moved by Marshall, seconded by Fox, to table the Community Pride
work days for the Town Park. No dates set yet. April Agenda item.
Carried on voice vote.
H. Moved by Fox, seconded by Marshall, to table the Resolution for
Rock County Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. This will be on April
agenda item. Copy on file for review at clerks office. Carried on
voice vote.
I. Moved by Schneider, seconded by Rebout, to table hiring the County
to clean up and cut brush along the Township Roads, Archie and
Robert are going to take a look and get back to us for the April
meeting. Motion carried on voice vote.
J. Information from Ed Marshall
A. Anyone interested in going to 2010 WTA District Meeting? Ed,
David and Robert plan to attend.
7. Correspondence
A. Sheriff report-February report available for review.
8. Vouchers
Moved by Rebout, seconded by Schneider, that Vouchers #70 through and
including #97 be approved for payment. Motion carried on voice
vote.
9. Adjournment
Moved by Schneider, seconded by Rebout, to adjourn. Motion carried
on
voice vote.
Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
