Smart Growth Introductory Workshop On:
Chapter 6:Housing
Chapter 7: Economic Development, and
Chapter 8: Intergovernmental Cooperation


The Town of Janesville, along with Rock County Planning and
Development, invites the public to an open meeting and workshop.  This
workshop is likely to include a brief introduction of the Housing,
Economic Development and Intergovernmental Cooperation Elements of the
Town Janesville Comprehensive Plan – 2035 as well as a discussion and
request for public input on needs, desires and issues for housing and
economic development in the Town.  All Town of Janesville residents
are encouraged to attend.  The meeting will be held at the Town of
Janesville Town Hall at:


1628 N. Little Court
 Thursday October 23, 2008
 6:00 pm.


It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of governmental
bodies of the Town of Janesville may be in attendance at this meeting
to gather information: no action will be taken by any governmental
body at the meeting.
