Town of Janesville Smart Growth Transportation and Utilities/Public Facilities Workshop The Town of Janesville, along with Rock County Planning and Development, invites the public to an open meeting to discuss the Draft Transportation Element and the Draft Utilities and Public Facilities Element of the Town of Janesville Comprehensive Plan – 2035. All Town of Janesville residents are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held at the Town of Janesville Town Hall at: 1628 N. Little Court Tuesday, February 12, 2008 __6:00___ pm. Topics that will be discussed include: an inventory of existing transportation facilities and other public facilities and services, an discussion of future needs and wants, a review of existing plans and policies and discussion of possible goals, objectives and policies for the Town of Janesville. An introduction to the Housing and Land Use Elements may also be presented. To ask questions or request a copy of the Draft Comprehensive Plan in advance of the meeting, please call 757-5587. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of other governmental bodies of the Town of Janesville may be in attendance at this meeting to gather information: no action will be taken by any governmental body at the meeting. *Press Release*
